CPU Mining Guide (for Windows Users)
STEP 1: CREATE AN ABEL WALLET
First, we need to have an ABEL pseudo-private MLP wallet for receiving our mining rewards. To create one, we can use the Abelian Pro mobile app or the Desktop Wallet Pro (MLP) software. For ease of use, we suggest using the mobile app
• Visit Abelian Pro (Mobile) for the mobile app, available for both Android (Google Play) and iOS (Apple Store) devices
• If you want to use the Desktop Wallet Pro (MLP) software on your computer, please visit Desktop Wallet Pro (MLP) download page

STEP 2: REGISTER ON MINING POOL
Visit https://maxpool.org and register (press the Login button at the top-right corner of the webpage, and click "Register now" on the Login page)

STEP 3: CREATE A MINING ACCOUNT ON THE POOL
After registration,
• Choose Settings (located at the right panel of the webpage)
• Press the Add Account button to create a new mining account
• Give a name to this account ("tag name")
• Copy your ABEL wallet address from the Abelian Pro mobile app or Desktop Wallet Pro (MLP)

STEP 4: DOWNLOAD CPU PACKAGE
After the account is created,
• Click the “download arrow” at the right hand side of the account to expand the view
• Choose the "CPU - Windows" tab
• Click the download link of abelminer-cpu package

STEP 5: UNZIP THE FILE
• After downloading is completed, click on the downloaded file shown on the browser
• Then unzip the downloaded file to a folder like this: “abelminer-cpu-windows-amd64-v0.13.2”
STEP 6: OPEN A POWERSHELL WINDOW & CHANGE THE CURRENT DIRECTORY
• Right-click on the “abelminer-cpu-windows-amd64-v0.13.2” folder and select “Open in Windows Terminal” or “Open in PowerShell”
STEP 7: COPY THE COMMAND
• Copy the command under "Mining Terminal Command" to the clipboard
STEP 8: PASTE THE COMMAND TO POWERSHELL WINDOW
• Paste the command to the PowerShell window you opened in Step 6 above
STEP 9 START MINING
• Leave the Terminal open while mining
• At first, the mining software needs to create some files called DAG first. This will take a few minutes but sometimes more than an hour depending on your CPU performance
STEP 10: TO STOP MINING
•To stop mining, just close the PowerShell window or press "control-C" in the PowerShell window
Abelian is building the foundation of a Post-Quantum world
Abelian is a Layer 1 blockchain engineered to withstand quantum threats. NIST, National Institute of Standards and Technology, has already approved multiple lattice-based cryptographic algorithms for quantum-resistant encryption and digital signature. With lattice-based cryptography, multi-tier privacy, and robust decentralization, Abelian ensures your digital assets to remain secure, private, and future-proof.

Join the race to quantum resistance
Abelian powers the next-generation Layer 1 blockchain, designed to protect your transactions, assets, and data against adversarial quantum attacks.
